Sunday of the Second Week of Advent

Today, I will rest and baste in the blessings God has bestowed upon the world. I was out enjoying the warms temps, sunshine and beauty of the winter landscape and noticed shapes, textures and colors all created by the maker of the universe…and to think we are His children.

IS 40:3 A voice cries: “In the wilderness prepare the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; the uneven ground shall become level, and the rough places a plain. And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the LORD has spoken.”

Creator of the Universe, thank you for all you have done, do and will do for us. You hung each star, counted each grain of sand, mixed, stirred and came up with the prefect tint of color for each leaf, flower and tree all while knowing my name. Unimaginable in my human mind.
